This work attracted considerable public attention as it was used as the theme for TRICK television drama serial. Since there are different ways of romanizing Japanese, this title can be spelled "Gekkou", but not "Gecko" because this is not a song about a lizard. Originally titled "Seikon" (Stigmata).

Aside from the new number "Sign", this is the only song in which Oni uses male language. Here the first person is referred to as "boku" and second person "kimi", instead of feminine "atashi" and "anata" as in the rest of her songs. Used in an Applied Materials commercial featuring Shibuya street scenes.
This song is said to be written when Oni was worrying about her future after graduation from high school. Allusion to track and field is made because Oni herself was an athlete in her school days.

Known as the theme for Oboreru Sakana, a theatrical film. The background chorus is sung for Oni herself.
This song was written soon after Oni moved into Tokyo. If "call" represents the darker side of her world, "We can go" seems to show an instance of her optimism at the other extreme. But don't get deceived by the sweet facade. Although agreeable to the ear, this number is more complex than it appears.
The text for this song is full of twists none but Oni would opt to sing such as "I do wish those perfect things wouldn't prevail all over the place" and "before brilliant things can affect us two".
Still, this tune rings much more positive compared with the rest of her repertoire.

A poignant number characterized by quiet beauty. This song was conceived when Chihiro, as a high school student attending a school festival, was playing a role of a girl dying of illness. She sings straightforward about death:
"If I were to disappear from your sight
Would you call my name and search for me?
If you couldn't leave me even after my body finally crumbles to decay
Would you wail for me again and again?"
This is said to be the first song she wrote. She sang an English version of this piece (not released) at the audition she passed.
Note: The above English lyrics are different from what she sang at the audition.

This number is the first song Chihiro Onitsuka released and naturally it's considered to be her creative starting point. She often sings this song at her concerts.
Oni says this title came from the image of a beam of light shining into a prison cell through a small iron-barred window. She loathed the atmosphere of her high school classroom crowded with students. To her, the school was like a prison.
The copy for this CD was "Don't worry. I'll shoot them all dead for you" (Daijobu, watashi ga subete wo uchikoroshite ageru).
