According to Universal Music, Chihiro has already written a dozen or so songs and has started recording during the last spring. A CD single will be released by early summer and a CD album will follow it, both produced by Takeshi Kobayashi.

And after a long period of patient waiting...

Chihiro will finally be back!

According to a two-page article in the March issue of ROCKIN'ON JAPAN, a monthly music magazine, Chihiro has already moved to a new label and a new management company. She has also recorded at least five demos, which, according to the writer of this article, is of terrific quality, including:

"everyhome," a serious ballad accompanied only by Mr. Takeshi Kobayashi's piano,
"Angelina," with its outspoken lyrics and
"NOW," a tune with rock music's inherent power, accompanied only by a cello and a piano.

Details of the coming releases, which will be produced by Mr. Kobayashi, remain unknown.

Takeshi Kobayashi is known as the producer of Mr. Children, Southern All Stars, Remioromen, Yo Hitoto and Salyu, among others.
